Product Quality and Control
Product Quality Management
All our products are subject to a strict quality control mechanism - from product development and selection of adequate high quality raw material onto the entire manufacturing process. An elaborate system of in-house inspections ensures that no item deviates from our quality standards. All contract partners are obliged to sign the "EURET Quality Control guideline" to set up a common quality standard level. The product development and product manufacturing process are revised by standard forms to ensure that every step of the value chain is subject to rigid quality control. We also carefully choose the factories we work with. All contract factories need to hand in several assessment forms and need to fulfill our strict criteria checklist.
Inspections and Audits
Regular inspections and audits during the manufacturing process (online inspections) as well as before consignment (shipping inspections) complete our mature testing system. EURET complies with the AQL level II (AQL= acceptable quality limit) and therefore the critical minimum quality requirements are very high - products have to be in an impeccable condition to be cleared for shipping. We have established an in-house quality management department and therefore our own employees care for compliance with AQL level II and all other quality standards, e.g. compliance with the European REACH regulation: The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) regularly issues a list of substances of very high concern (SVHCs) which need to be reported throughout the supply chain.
Social Responsibility and Sustainability
We guarantee a quality standard above average - firstly due to our in-house quality management, secondly due to inspections by third-party institutes. As a reliable business partner we impose a 100% compliance of our quality standards and also keen to fulfill any additional requirements our customers may have. In any case we comply with all European Quality Standards. Being a member of the BSCI we commit ourselves to maintain high social standards in the factories and also take environmental issues into account regarding raw materials and packaging. The BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) is a leading business-driven initiative for foreign trade companies committed to high social and environmental standards in the global supply chain.
